1:55: Q1 (Arts & Literature): An easy question, to start: what former British intelligence officer created the character James Bond, and wrote the first 12 Bond novels?

11:07: Q2 (Sports & Games): Although the 2006 film version of Casino Royale revolved around a game of Texas Hold ‘Em poker, in the original Fleming novel, Bond and Le Chiffre play the chemin-de-fer variety of this card game, which was traditionally popular with French nobility.

18:34: Q3 (Times & Places): In the novel Goldfinger, Bond foils the titular villain’s plan to rob the United States’ gold reserves, housed at this military base. In the film adaptation, the plan is to irradiate the gold, rendering it useless for decades.

25:47: Q4 (Music): The best theme song from a James Bond film is Chris Cornell’s “You Know My Name”.  But the only one to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100 is “A View to a Kill”, by this British New Wave group, also known for “Hungry Like the Wolf”.

32:57: Q5 (Everything Else): The secondary villain of Live and Let Die is named Baron Samedi, a name he shares with a figure in this religion, which is also featured in the film’s plot.

41:20: Q6 (Movies & TV): In the “official” James Bond series of films produced by Eon Productions, 007 has been played by six different actors.  Name all of them.
