Sophie is my sweet cousin and her and her husband live in China. As of a few days ago, they got to meet their new precious daughter that they adopted from China. Since Sophie was in middle school, she felt like God placed it on her heart to adopt a baby girl from China, so hearing her story and watching that dream unfold over the last twenty years has been amazing! This conversation gives more insight of the beginning stages of what the international adoption process looks like. This call was recorded about two weeks before they met their daughter on November 11, so since then they’ve met her and are in the first week of adjusting to their new, sweet, beautiful little family, and all the adjustment and transition that comes with that, so please keep them in prayer!
