With the unemployment rate skyrocketing in South Africa amid a global pandemic, Thomas stood, formally dressed, on a busy highway in Gauteng with a cardboard sign - and little hope.

Thanks to a motorist who took a picture of him and posted it on social media, Thomas got a lifechanging phone call from a good samaritan and landed the job of his dreams!
