Welcome to another episode of Crippling Mediocrity where all we do is talk about hockey... and nothing else.... ever... Take that as you will. We start our hockey season in perfect Sabres fashion by having the league screw us over and giving the whole locker room Covid. Gary Bettman is a good commissioner as Ralph Krueger is a hockey coach. Speaking of that. of the games the Sabres have played so far there are a few things to be optimistic about but just as many, if not more to be concerned about. We currently have a top 5 player in the league in Jack EIchel, complimented by a former number one pick in Taylor Hall, and a generational 20-year-old defenseman who would be doing great if our brilliant soccer coach (yes we said soccer coach) knew what the hell he was doing. We've also got a $9 million salary scorer who has one point on the season because apparently he's not a good two-way player.... read that statement again and tell me if it makes sense to you. Also, the Crippling Mediocrity crew will be at the facility when it opens again to try out for backup goalie because... well... we've never needed Lasik. Enjoy our first hockey episode Dusters and Benders, and as always, stay mediocre.
