The USL Championship 2023 season is finally here! The Crew are back to talk about El Paso Locomotive FC's disappointing 1-0 loss to visitors Sacramento Republic FC on opening night of Season 5 at the SWUP. There were green shoots of optimism though, as the Crew dissected Brian Clarhaut's new controlled play style, the impact of the debutants, and the goalscoring chances that Los Locos had. The Crew also highlight the second half pressure Los Locos put on the visitors to try to win the game and odd refereeing decisions or lack thereof.

The Crew then preview the midweek fixture at home against Colorado Springs Switchback. It's a chance for the Boys in Blue to immediately respond to the loss against a Switchbacks side that has seen all its best players and head coach leave in the offseason. Stay Loco!
