During the Passover, God ordered Moses to have the Israelites slaughter lambs and use the blood to protect them from the Angel of Death. The blood Was shed and the people were saved. Jesus as the Lamb of God will have His blood shed for all people. We receive this Blood in the Eucharist when we celebrate Mass! #catholicchurch #passover #lambofgod
