Our guest is our guest today is Charles Eisenstein, the author of Sacred Economics: Money, Gift, and Society in the Age of Transition, which explores the economics of separation and the transition to a new kind of money system, both on a societal and personal level. It follows his earlier book, The Ascent of Humanity, about the history and future of civilization from the perspective of the evolution of the human sense of self. He is on the faculty of Goddard College in the Health Arts and Sciences program, and is a frequent public speaker on topics of money, civilization, and transition.
