  • Book Doula Wisdom: How to Write, Publish and Market a Book without Burnout with Author Rea Frey

    Send us Fan Mail

The fastest way to kill a book dream is to treat it like a hustle project. I’m joined by Rea Frey, a number one bestselling author and the “Book Doula” who helps first-time writers bring their stories into the world with more clarity, more support, and a lot less overwhelm. If you’ve ever felt called to write a book but got stuck in perfectionism, fear, or confusion about the publishing industry, you’re going to feel seen here.

We talk about what a book doula actually does, why “No” from agents and traditional publishers is so rarely personal, and how the industry has shifted toward platform and marketing. Rea breaks down the real business side of authorship: contracts, advances, royalties, earning out, and why self-publishing is becoming the preferred path for so many writers who want speed, control, and ownership. We also get practical about finishing the draft, setting real deadlines, and building a marketing plan that fits your personality, even if you hate social media.

Just as important, we zoom out to the human side: boundaries, seasonal living, wellness practices that keep you grounded, and the emotional experience of “birthing” something creative. Rea shares how motherhood reshaped her creativity and why community can be the difference between quitting and completing the work.

If you’re ready to stop waiting for permission and start moving your idea forward, connect with Rea for a free clarity call and explore her resources. Subscribe to Sacred Soul Sisters, share this with a friend who has a story in them, and please leave a review so more writers can find the support they’ve been quietly longing for.

  • Ocean Silence, Sacred Geometry, And The Call To Gather

    Send us Fan Mail

Your meditation app crashes, your music won’t play, and the ocean is the only thing left. That’s where this conversation begins: a quiet California morning, a raspy voice, and a moment on the beach where Spirit interrupts the usual routine with three words that hit like truth, not advice: “Just be.”

From that stillness, we move into what I’m witnessing in real time through retreats, energy work, and intuitive downloads. I share a powerful message that came through about “entering the era of the Sphinx,” plus what I sensed through sacred geometry symbols like triangles and tetrahedrons. We talk ascension as a frequency and vibration shift rather than leaving Earth, and why the 3D and 5D framework may be more about communication and resonance than location.

Then we widen the lens to community healing. When we gather intentionally, something forms that’s bigger than any one person: a coherent field that can feel like a portal of support between Mother Gaia and the divine. I also share what I’m noticing around increased spiritual presence, including past loved ones and multidimensional assistance, and why I feel we’re being called to sit in circles, not scattered shapes.

If you’re craving grounded spirituality, Reiki-adjacent energy healing insights, and a reminder that you’re not doing this alone, press play. Subscribe to Sacred Soul Sisters, share this with someone you’d sit in circle with, and leave a review so this ripple reaches more hearts.

  • You Can Change Your Mind By Changing Your Breath: Interview with Andrew Keaveney (The Art of Living Center, Boone NC)

    Send us Fan Mail

Your breath is the one tool you’re using all day that can instantly change how you feel and most of us never learn how to use it on purpose. We talk with breathwork and meditation coach Andrew Keaveney, (Teacher and Director of Digital Media at the Art of Living Center in Boone NC)  about why so many of us get stuck in overthinking, bracing, and pushing through life, then forget our bodies have been communicating with us the whole time. If you’ve been feeling anxious, disconnected, exhausted, or emotionally “muted,” this conversation offers a grounded path back to yourself that doesn’t require perfect vibes or a 1,000-page manual.

Andrew shares his personal journey from Taos, New Mexico to Ireland, Tennessee, and eventually years of study in India, where inner work became something lived instead of performed. We break down what breathwork actually is, why the breath is a powerful bridge between the nervous system and the mind, and how changing your breathing pattern can shift stress, mood, and mental chatter when trying to control your thoughts just makes things worse. We also touch on research around anxiety support, cortisol, deep sleep, and impulse control, plus why a safe container and gentle pacing matter when breathwork brings old emotion to the surface.

We go deeper into real-world healing: using breathwork alongside recovery programs for addiction, reclaiming a pause before cravings, and stories of people feeling surprising relief from chronic pain. You’ll also hear a short guided alternate nostril breathing practice you can do in a few minutes to come back into your body and reset. If you know someone who carries everyone else’s world, share this with them, then follow the show, leave a review, and tell us what shifted for you after trying the practice.

  • Hi, Did You Know YOUR Heart Energy Creates a Ripple Effect That Heals???

    Send us Fan Mail

Hi there, I’m Justina, and Welcome, Here is a sacred space for you to slow down, soften, and come back to yourself without guilt, burnout, or pretending everything is fine. 2026 feels like a turning point, and I’m naming what many of us feel but rarely say out loud: the call to stop carrying it all is getting louder.

I also get personal about being in my 40s and what changes as you age into more self-trust. There are more moments of “I don’t care what people think,” and still, the old patterns can flare up like imposter syndrome or fear of being judged for being “too woo.” We talk about choosing authenticity anyway, filtering through the heart when we can, and using real tools like nervous system regulation, emotional release, and grounded spiritual practice to stay steady in real life.

Then we go deeper into energy healing and divine support including what I’m noticing more often in sessions: energetic blueprints, frequency-based resonance, and what I can only describe as galactic help (yes, including Arcturians and a Lyrian presence). Whether you’re curious, skeptical, or somewhere in between, the bigger takeaway is about listening inward, making space for silence, and trusting the messages that land with clarity and calm. We also explore how Reiki classes and retreats can start “working” the moment you commit, creating a collective ripple of heart energy and healing.

If you feel that pull to return to yourself, hit subscribe, share this with a friend who needs support, and leave a review so this healing ripple can reach more people.

  • Live Like Mushrooms: Mushrooms As A Blueprint For Community Healing with Madison Murphy Barney

    Send us Fan Mail

Mushrooms might be the most honest teacher we have right now. Not because they’re trendy, but because mycelium tells the truth about how life actually works: connection first, then growth. We sit down with Indigenous author and doula Madison Murphy Barney to explore why the “do it all alone” mindset leaves so many of us anxious, exhausted, and quietly lonely, and what changes when we start living more like a network instead of a lone survivor.

Madison shares her personal turning point, moving from a rigid self-fixing cycle shaped by chaos and addiction in her upbringing into what she calls “doula-ing herself into a delicious life.” We talk about doula care as deep witnessing and accompaniment through the unknown, why entrepreneurship can crack you open like a mirror, and how the most important transformation often happens underground before you see any results. Along the way, we unpack ancestral wisdom without nostalgia, returning to our original instructions as humans within ecosystems, not above them.

We also get practical about what reconnection looks like today: nature as nervous system support, community as health care, and local relationships as the “boring” but powerful work that makes real change possible. Madison introduces Threshold Alchemy, her group program for life transitions, and shares resources to help you meet change with curiosity instead of fear.

If you feel called to explore your own thresholds, check the show notes for links, Madison’s book Our Ancestors Want Us to Be Mushrooms, and a special listener offer. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs support, and leave a review so this ripple reaches more hearts.

  • What Changes When You Finally Choose Yourself: Women's Retreat in Bend Oregon

    Send us Fan Mail

You can be wildly capable and still feel disconnected from yourself. If you’ve been carrying everyone else’s needs, pushing through on grit, and telling yourself you’ll rest “after things calm down,” this conversation is the interruption your body has been asking for.

Norma sits down with me, Justina Sharp, to talk about the Unbound Retreat, a women’s retreat in Bend, Oregon (April 30 to May 2, 2027) created for the woman who’s ready to stop shrinking and start living in alignment with her soul. We get into what “Unbound” really means, how fear of judgment becomes a set of invisible chains, and why real healing includes nervous system regulation, emotional release, embodiment, and spiritual support, not bypassing. If you’re new to Reiki, meditation, or anything “woo-woo,” you’re not behind, you’re welcome.

We also walk through what the retreat weekend looks like: an opening gathering, shared meals, guided practices, a channeled group message, community connection, and an optional VIP night with frequency activation and quantum embodiment. You’ll hear practical tips on what to pack, what to bring, and how to make a retreat financially doable, including planning ahead and sharing lodging with friends.

If you’ve been craving sisterhood, deep rest, and the kind of self-care that actually changes you, press play, then subscribe, share this with a friend who needs it, and leave a review so more women can find this support.

  • Unbound: Ayurveda, Yoga, Tuning Into your Inner Wisdom with Author Serena Arora

    Send us Fan Mail

Burnout can look like a packed calendar and a brave face, but underneath it often feels like dehydration of the spirit: low energy, muted joy, and a body that doesn’t quite feel safe. That’s why this conversation with Serena Arora hit so deeply for us. Serena is an Ayurvedic health practitioner, yoga therapist, and the author of Unbound, a memoir that traces the immigrant daughter journey through identity, shame, and the slow reclamation of worth.

We talk about how family history travels forward through culture, nervous system patterns, and the unspoken rules we inherit. Serena shares her roots across India and Chinese lineage, the weight of “immigrate” grit, and what happens when feelings are shut down for the sake of survival. From ancestral trauma to inner child healing, we explore how the body remembers what the mind tries to outrun, and why healing is less about becoming someone new and more about remembering who you were before the conditioning.

You’ll also hear grounded, practical insights on Ayurveda and yoga therapy as individualized medicine. We dig into simple daily self-care rituals, the idea that we become our environment, and how small practices repeated over time can rebuild resilience, vitality, and clarity. We keep coming back to one antidote that matters just as much as food and breathwork: community, especially spaces where women can be real and supported.

If you feel called, share this conversation with someone who needs it, grab Serena’s book Unbound, and check out her resources. Subscribe to the show, leave a review, and help us grow this healing ripple.

  • Believe In Magic: Your Beliefs Decide What You See And What You Receive

    Send us Fan Mail

Magic is not something we leave behind in childhood, it’s something we stop noticing when life gets loud. I’m Justina, and I’m inviting you back into a slower, truer way of living where your breath, your body, and your beliefs work together. If you’ve been craving spiritual healing that feels grounded, this conversation is a reset: less striving, more receiving, and a lot more trust in what’s already supporting you.

We start with a simple question: do you believe in magic? From a nostalgic 90s commercial to the very real way belief shapes perception, I share why miracles don’t always arrive as one giant lightning bolt. Often they show up as subtle intuitive nudges, tiny synchronistic moments, and the kind of quiet guidance you can miss when you’re rushing. You’ll hear the practical mantra I use to shift from frustration to receptivity: “I am always supported. I always find what I need. Magic and miracles take place in my life every single day.”

Then we take it bigger. I share the behind-the-scenes magic of Unbound, our women’s retreat in Bend, Oregon at the beautiful River House Lodge, April 30 through May 2, 2027, and how alignment can unfold when we follow the whisper instead of waiting for a perfect plan. If you’ve been navigating burnout, caregiving, leadership pressure, or a season of deep change, this is for you.

If you feel a spark, come listen, share this with a friend who needs hope, and please subscribe and leave a review so this healing ripple reaches more beautiful souls.

  • Let A Song Say What You Couldn’t: Tender Moments that feature "Pink" lyrics and some tears.

    Send us Fan Mail

A lyric can crack you open faster than a journal prompt. I start season two by setting a sacred space for the ones who have carried the family, the job, the leadership role, and everyone else’s needs, then I let the conversation get very real about what healing actually looks like when you stop pretending you are fine.

Music is the thread, and "Pink" (Alecia Beth Moore), is the mirror. I share why her songs have felt like my nervous system finally got a voice, then I read pieces of “Family Portrait” and talk about what it brings up for anyone who grew up around conflict, alcohol, walking on eggshells, or a home that looked “normal” from the outside. We also turn toward generational pain and the Vietnam legacy, including the way trauma can follow veterans home, and why we have to do a better job supporting them. I read from “I Have Seen the Rain” and sit with the weight and the love inside those words.

To bring it back into your hands, I share a grounded inner child practice inspired by “Conversations With My 13-Year-Old Self,” plus guidance on “music hygiene” for nervous system regulation: feel what you feel, but don’t let your playlist trap you there. If you’re craving community and a fresh start, I also share details about the Unbound retreat in Bend, Oregon (April 30 to May 2, 2027). Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs it, and please leave a review so more hearts can find their way back home.

  • Walking in Circles and Somehow Getting Somewhere....... Walking the Labyrinth

    Send us Fan Mail

Some days it feels like you’re doing everything “right” and still not getting anywhere. If you’ve been carrying everyone else for years, that feeling can hit hard, especially when a new season asks you to change. We’re welcoming 2026 with a real return to self: less pushing, less performing, more nervous system calm, and more soul-led trust.

We talk about labyrinths, not as a quirky idea, but as a practical meditation tool you can use to settle your mind and remember what you already know. From above a labyrinth looks like you’re walking in circles, yet you’re following one path that keeps changing direction, sometimes close to the center, sometimes pulled back to the edge, and eventually arriving. That pattern mirrors healing, grief, leadership, relationships, and burnout recovery. We also share a simple framework you can take into your week: release as you enter, receive in the center, and return with new awareness.

You’ll also hear a big announcement about the Unbound retreat in Bend, Oregon (April 30, May 1, and May 2, 2027) and why this space is designed for anyone ready to drop the roles, clear energetic blocks, and let their authentic self lead again. If you’ve been craving a sacred pause, a little Reiki-flavored restoration, and a reminder that you don’t need the whole map, press play.

If this lands in your heart, follow the Sacred Soul Sisters Podcast, share it with a friend who needs support, and leave a review so this healing ripple reaches more people.
