We’re continuing our Sacred Texts series with one of Madison’s (and Tristan’s) favorites, Interstellar (2014). Christopher Nolan’s space epic may include tesseracts and scientifically-accurate black holes, but it’s more than a space adventure. We dig into love, fatherhood, environmentalist issues, and what it means to be homo sapiens in our quest to explore.

Sacred Texts can be art in any medium that you internalize, reflect upon, and find worth or inspiration through beyond the original presentation. These movies or shows could impact you in a number of ways, and they could be Sacred because they are family touchstones, or because of their impact at a certain time in your life, or indicative of a change in your outlook, or for any number of reasons.
