Sacrifice is NOT a popular word. Even less popular if we are asked to sacrifice. Yet we are alive because of sacrifice-- Jesus on the Cross, our parents and loved ones, all who have sacrificed for our well- being over the years. It is a grace to be able to sacrifice for others. The deepest of sacrifices is the GIFT OF OURSELVES. As the Father sent Jesus to the Cross for OUR salvation, as disciples we we are invited each day to die to ourselves so that WE MIGHT TRULY LIVE !
