This story was the fourth installment of The Pancake Club series and it was just as sweet and heartwarming as its predecessors.
Dirk Adams is the new vet in Mercy Ridge and just what Barb is looking for in a man. She was the last of The Pancake Club members, that met at Memories Diner to find true love, although he was worth waiting for.
If you enjoy sweet romance, small towns and wide open spaces, this series is a must read!
Great Summer Read
This was a good, clean story for all ages, about a tomboy-ish dude ranch wrangler and the new vet, in small town America. Quick read at one hundred pages, with fairly large type for easy reading, though not a LARGE PRINT book by any means. Good summer read for anyone who likes clean romance, horses and the outdoors.

The fourth and final book in the Pancake Club Series features a rough, tough Barb Sessions who works on a dude ranch. Her friends in the small town of Mercy Ridge have all moved on to happily-ever-afters, but can Barb soften enough to admit her attraction to the new vet in town? I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys small town stories of romance.
love at first site
I truly enjoyed this story. It gives you hope about love at first site. That a heart knows from the start where it is suppose to be. This story between dirk and barb was delightful and cute. I couldnt stop reading it.

Sweet western romance series. I loved the couple! An owner of a dude ranch and the vet who uses natural healing for the animals. I have read other stories by Ms. Miles and this is another feather in her cap.
