And it comes from Joanna Cooke, and trust me if you like a soulful voice…YOURE IN FOR A TREAT!

Thank you to Sadie Horler of course, she is just such a talent and home grown in Devon!

One last thing before you go, Music wouldn’t be anything without the fans who turn up at every gig and support musicians as they play. Make sure you are streaming and buying tracks to get musicians through this tough time and drop them a message and say hey I really enjoy what you do!

Most importantly of all, we need to be emailing the government to put in some support for music venues and musicians. Without this its going to be incredibly difficult to see venues reopen when its finally safe.

Go to the website, theyworkforyou.com and email to them and Oliver Dowden about when and what we can expect in terms of support for the live industry. Without rallying together they won’t know how important it really is.

Update. Recorded the voiceover on Sunday and then Late on Sunday night the government announced its plan for the arts industry.

It said, he government has unveiled a £1.57bn support package to help protect the futures of UK theatres, galleries, museums and other cultural venues.

Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden told BBC Breakfast new grants and loans aim to preserve "crown jewels" in the UK's art sector as well as local venues.

It follows several weeks of pressure, with industry leaders warning that many venues were on the brink of collapse.

Independent cinemas, heritage sites and music venues will also be eligible

Whilst this is positive news, This shouldn’t the end of the matter. It still needs to be put in place quickly and effectively.

The plea still stands to write to your MP and ask them when.
