This week Dom, Walter, and Katie speak to Ana Barrera from Safe Ag Safe Schools here in Salinas about their efforts to create a one mile buffer zone between schools and farmlands to protect schoolchildren from being exposed to pesticides that are sprayed in the nearby fields.  This group can be found at Safe Ag Safe Schools on Facebook and meet the third Thursday of every month if you would like to attend one of their meetings.  Meetings are held at 6:30pm on 931 E Market Street and you won't miss dinner because food is served at their meetings!  You can RSVP for the meeting at (831) 325-1681.
