When it comes to wellness, we often talk about physical health, mental health or relationship difficulties and we attend to each as being very distinct from each other. We find ourselves treating the body without realizing what it might be doing to the brain. Or treating the brain without realizing that the body is keeping the score, and losing. Or forgetting that both the body and brain need those heart-filled connections with others who nurture vitality and resilience in us.
