Safe in the Lord
Psalm 20: 7
Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
In this world you will have trouble, but take heart I have overcome the world.
Psalm 46
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Psalm 9: 9-10
The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. 10 Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.

Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
