Was Ben Franklin right when he quipped, “Nothing can be said to be certain except death and taxes.” We may smile, but most of us would acknowledge that we do live in a world that is ever changing and unpredictable; some might even add, unfair. What are we guaranteed; what do we expect from life? Can I trust God with my life? Or maybe the question is more basic; can I even trust God? This holiday season we will walk out into the depth of these questions and discover that God does not disappoint. God has come through on His promises to us and will continue to do so, in fact, God says, “you can live with expectation!”
