Archbishop Malcolm McMahon chaired a press conference that took place virtually, after the Catholic Bishops of England and Wales met from 16 - 19 November 2020, to discuss safeguarding in the Catholic Church in England and Wales. It took place on Friday 20 November 2020.

The conference was held after the Bishops formally accepted the recommendations of both the IICSA Report and the final report of the independent "Elliott Review" of the Catholic Church’s Safeguarding Structures and Arrangements in England and Wales.
