To get a better insight into the startup scene in Eastern Switzerland we interviewed Matijas Cosic, CEO & co-founder at Simedis. In addition, we discuss the development of MedTech and the importance of networking! Make sure you don’t miss the video below!

Matijas Cosic is coming from St.Gallen, where he finished his bachelor studies. To get his masters degree in Business Administration, Cosic continued his education in Zurich. Before he went down the entrepreneurship alley, Cosic worked for the Real Estate industry. He explains that he was very lucky to meet his current business partners during his masters studies and to start a company with them, Simedis.

The team behind Simedis believe that the science and technology development has already reached a level that requires certain changes in medical training. As Cosic claims, it’s time for doctors to leave the learning of medical skills on humans in past and to use vivid simulation instead. That’s why Simedis produce virtual reality simulations for the medical training of doctors.
