SafeScript NSW (https://www.safescript.health.nsw.gov.au/health-practitioners) provides prescribers and pharmacists with real-time information about a patient’s prescribing and dispensing history for certain high-risk medicines such as opioids and benzodiazepines to improve clinical decision making and patient safety.
Registering (https://register.safescript.health.nsw.gov.au/) for SafeScript NSW is simple and takes about five minutes. Once registered, health practitioners can enable their integrated clinical software to support SafeScript NSW.
