On April 13, 1984, the Indian Army secured the strategically salient Siachen Glacier and to date continues to guard the highest battlefield in the world, having braved the most formidable situations ever in history.
The Politindia honours the gallantry of the brave warriors and salutes them on this medium to celebrate the 36th year of victory over the Siachen point.
