After speaking to multiple doctors, Vern finally had to put ego aside and accept that he had PTSD. As a part of his healing process, he began to journal and then realized his journaling could actually help millions of other people struggling to cope with their PTSD.  So he wrote PTSD: Living on The Edge to bring about a greater understanding of PTSD while helping & guiding others to find a new direction on the path to recovery. Debunking many common misconceptions, Vern examines the truth about PTSD following a traumatic life-altering event. His book helps all those refusing to let PTSD hold them down as well as their family and friends, victim advocates, and medical professionals who may be seeking a new and better way to recovery. Vern even has a 21 day mental fitness program at the end of the book, so you can take action as soon as possible.

  2. Don’t edit while writing. 
  3. Set a time to write and stick to it. 
  4. Look at writing as a business. 
  5. Do the best you can. 
  6. Don’t listen to people who will rain on your parade. 
  7. Stay in your zone of excellence and then hire others for the editing and other stuff.
