Michelle started baking cakes for her daughter La'Mya because she wanted to be able to help fulfill her dream of being a model. She pondered on what type of fundraiser should she do to get La'Mya to L.A. Initially, she baked just enough cakes to take care of the expenses. Her daughter traveled to L.A. and won 1st place receiving a $1,000 educational grant, free photo shoot and a one year contract with a modeling agency based in California. Now they are traveling back to L.A. and Michelle is expanding  Forever Cakes and hopes to be opening a place of business in the near future.
