Many of you may have heard about Sage Viswamitra. But did you really know he was actually a king? How he attained the Bramha Rishi status through long arduous struggle is narrated in this episode.

This episode tells the story of Sage Vishwamitra and Sage Vashistha and their visit to the temple of Ayodhya. Additionally, we will learn about Trisanku Swarga, how it came into existence, and how Vishwamitra acquired the knowledge of Astras. In this episode, we will learn how Viswamitra had to undergo several hardships before achieving the status of Brahmarishi. As we listen, we will also find out how Vishwamitra challenged Devas and how Lord Indra and Brahma intervened to control him.
