This is a rebroadcast of a presentation made by Captain Eric on the Boot Key Harbor (in Marathon, Florida) radio net on February 10, 2021. The topic is "How I lost my rudder; the dangers of stray current corrosion." Unfortunately, Eric had to become an expert on this topic, as the rudder on Free Spirit fell off in 2019.
Boot Key Harbor, in the Florida Keys, is a very friendly, very large cruising community where everyone wants to help eachother!
