Life is like sailing the waters of the oceans, many times we must let go of what is heavy on the boat, let go of the burdens in order to sail better, faster and lighter. To take off that weight in our lives that often is not even ours but has been bequeathed to us. Recognise it, let go and sail our own life.

The waters can be turbulent at times and at other times very calm, and sailing implies knowing how to face the turbulent waters and enjoy the calm ones. To drop anchor when it must be done and to weigh anchor when the circumstances require it, and to look for a better place in the sea.

The sails will take us where the universe thinks is best for us and we must take the helm very strongly to steer our ship. The pen will write the journal of our voyage with all the necessary details.

The guide will always be the compass, only it knows the truth and only it can truly guide us... the compass, our intuition and our third eye that we must listen to in order to navigate well.

I developed the design with eight images that I arranged in 18 layers in Photoshop CS6 free of AI.

For the background I chose an image with sepia colours in which there was a small sailboat but with the patch tool I removed it. I duplicated the layer and put a soft light blending on it.

Then I placed the image of the ropes in three layers with different position and scale and to the three layers I put the darkest colour fusion. On them I placed the image of the anchor, which would occupy almost the entire size of the design horizontally and with a light fusion.

Then I worked on the woman's face, placing it on top of all the above in three layers and previously erasing the background and the hair or almost all the hair. The fusions I used are strong light, focal light and lighter colour.

Then I selected the sailboat from the image that contains it, copied and pasted it into the design and placed it in several layers with different positions and scales. To all of them I put the multiply merge.

I selected the rudder and placed it just above one of the woman's eyes, with the strong light fusion. Then in the animation I give it a 180 degree rotation movement over the eye.

I placed the feather on the side of the face with the raster fusion and on the forehead I placed the compass with the strong light fusion.

Finally I selected one of the woman's eyes, duplicated it and placed it on the compass with the strong light fusion.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

La vida es como navegar en las aguas de los océanos, muchas veces debemos soltar lo que pesa en el barco, soltar las cargas para navegar mejor, más rápido y livianos. Quitarnos aquel peso en nuestra vida que muchas veces ni siquiera es nuestro, sino que nos lo han legado. Reconocerlo, soltar y navegar nuestra propia vida.

Las aguas pueden ser turbulentas a veces y otras muy tranquilas y navegar implica saber afrontar esas aguar y disfrutar las segundas. Echar anclas cuando deba hacerse y levantarlas cuando así lo requiera la circunstancia y buscar un lugar del mar mejor.

Las velas nos llevaran a donde el universo piense que es mejor para nosotros y debemos tomar muy fuerte el timón para dirigir nuestro barco. La pluma escribirá la bitácora de nuestro viaje con todos los detalles necesarios.

La guía siempre será la brújula, sólo ella sabe la verdad y sólo ella nos puede verdaderamente guiar... la brújula, nuestra intuición y nuestro tercer ojo al que debemos escuchar para bien navegar.

El diseño lo desarrollé con ocho imágenes que dispuse en 18 capas dentro de Photoshop CS6 libre de IA.

Para el fondo elegí una imagen con colores sepias en la cual había un pequeño velero, pero con la herramienta parche lo eliminé. Dupliqué la capa y le puse una fusión de luz suave.

Luego coloqué la imagen de las cuerdas en tres capas con distinta posición y escala y a las tres capas le puse la fusión de color más oscuro. Sobre ellas dispuse la imagen del ancla, que ocupara casi todo el tamaño del diseño en forma horizontal y con fusión de luminosidad.

Luego trabajé el rostro de la mujer colocándolo sobre todo lo anterior en tres capas y borrando previamente el fondo y el cabello o casi todo el cabello. Las fusiones que usé son luz fuerte, luz focal y color más claro.

Posteriormente seleccioné el velero de la imagen que lo contiene, copié y pegué en el diseño y lo coloqué en varias capas con posiciones y escalas diversas. A todos les puse la fusión de multiplicar.

Seleccioné el timón y lo puse justo encima de uno de los ojos de la mujer, con la fusión de luz fuerte. Luego en la animación le doy movimiento de rotación de 180 grados sobre el ojo.

Coloqué la pluma a un lado del rostro con la fusión de trama y en la frente coloqué la brújula con la fusión de luz fuerte.

Finalmente seleccioné un ojo de la mujer lo dupliqué y lo coloqué sobre la brújula con la fusión de luz fuerte.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
