Haruka and Michiru continue to complicate the Sailor Guardians attempts to learn more about the new enemy, the schoolgirl Chibiusa tried to befriend last time is revealed to be Hotaru Tomoe, daughter of the man who owns the Triangle Isles and Mugen Academy. Meanwhile, Rei celebrates her birthday by trying to infiltrate the plans of the first of the Witches 5, Eudial, as she holds a retreat in the mountains to such the souls out of Mugen Academy students.
