Introduction:
If you gained everything the world had to offer — comfort, success, wealth, fame — would it satisfy your soul?
Solomon did just that. And his conclusion? “It was meaningless.” This raises a serious question: What good is more, if it doesn't lead to something eternal?
Problem Statement:
We’re conditioned to chase more — more income, more upgrades, more lifestyle. But “more” without mission leads to spiritual emptiness. Without purpose, prosperity becomes vanity. God offers us something better: purposeful prosperity, rooted in contentment and eternal impact.
Main Points:
Success Without Purpose Feeds Emptiness
– Ecclesiastes 2:11 – “All of it was meaningless…”
– The pursuit of more doesn’t fill the soul.
Purpose Transforms Possessions into Mission
– 1 Timothy 6:18–19 – “Be rich in good deeds… lay up treasure for the coming age.”
– Prosperity is meant to be invested in what lasts.
Contentment Creates Freedom to Give
– Philippians 4:12 – “I have learned the secret of being content…”
– Content people give more joyfully and purposefully.

Re-evaluate what “more” means in your life.
Does it mean mission or just maintenance?
Create financial and emotional margin.
Simplicity creates space to give, love, and serve.
Practice daily gratitude and generosity.

Where can your prosperity make an eternal difference
Conclusion:
More will never be enough if your soul is disconnected from purpose. But when you pursue God’s mission with what you’ve been given, you’ll find that “enough” becomes more than enough.
Prayer:
God of wisdom and abundance, teach us to define success by Your standards, not the world’s. Break our addiction to accumulation. Help us see the joy of simplicity and the beauty of contentment. Let our resources serve Your mission and not our egos. Shape our hearts for eternity, and align our lives with Your purpose. Amen.
