No one in Atlanta is crying about the departure of Sean Payton as the Saints coach. He was 21-9 in the series and won a Super Bowl. The Saints are now led by Dennis Allen, the son of former Falcons linebacker Grady Allen (1968-72). The Saints, under the direction of quarterback Jameis Winston, will open the season against the Atlanta Falcons at 1 p.m. Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Saints have some key new additions in safety Tyrann Mathieu, wide receiver Jarvis Landry and safety Marcus Maye.
