Fathers: Instruct But Don't Exasperate
After the call for children to obey their parents in Ephesians 6, God turns back towards fathers to give some specific instruction: "Do not provoke your children to anger". This conversation looks at different ways we could be stirring up anger in our kids without even knowing it. Afterwards, we then focus upon what we can do to prevent such things.
The Gospel Example
Fathers are instructed to be Christ-like in their family interactions. They are to be models of grace, truth, sacrificial love, and discipline. Let us always remember that how we treat our wife and children says much about Jesus and His Gospel.
We hope this episode helps you shine like a light in the discipleship of your household.
