Large Chunks Of Scripture

I want to encourage you to make time for large chucks of Scripture in your life.  Bathe yourself in the sanctifying power of God's Word and allow it to change and mold you into the image of Christ!

The Big Fish

This week we focus in on the Book of Jonah. Jonah finds himself in the belly of a big fish and his story has much to teach us about ourselves, and more importantly God's character and nature. We get lessons of rebuke, repentance and of how awesome God is!

Nineveh's Repentance

One aspect that we focus in on in this episode is how Nineveh responds to the word of the LORD.  Its challenging to see just how serious they took their eventual destruction and how it caused them to mourn, fast and seek God for their forgiveness.  We should ask ourselves if we treat our own sin this seriously.
