SALAMANDER SPIRIT (The Saboteur)
SALAMANDER SPIRIT (The Saboteur) Sabotage usually comes from someone who betrays you. Because you let them in close and they gained your confidence. They see you in the intimate moments that few see. Therefore betrayal (Matt 10:4) could only come from someone you love and or trust. That is why it cuts so deep. Someone who betrays you perpetrates treachery without regard to the hurt it may inflict or the permanent rifts that may arise.
The characteristics of an animal are good ways to describe human behavior because animals live by instinct. When describing a person’s character using a dove or a snake could let you know what you are dealing with. I believe a saboteur could be best described as a salamander. Like their cousin the chameleon they can shift conforming to the environment but instead of changing different hues and brightness. Salamanders can quickly submerge into the water from land or emerge from water unto the land. These amphibians can thrive in two environments. Many possess internal gills and external gills that they use for breathing. The dual nature of these beasts is often replicated in human behavior.
Jesus chooses 12 Disciples. Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss. The devil entered Judas. How? Judas had an area in his soul prepared as a landing pad for Satan. The Devil needs a place to land to perform his evil scheme. The works of the flesh are usually a perfect base that evil emanates from. The Salamander Spirit can adapt to land or Sea. A person with this spirit performs in both good and evil. They are Masters of the Art of not letting your left hand know what your right is doing. This term is used regarding alms, but dangerous individuals could operate in evil and good without a lack of conviction. Dual behavior is natural as breathing. This behavior could be classified as Socio Pathic.
The Salamander Spirit could thrive in evil and good environments with the same temperament. During the time of Noah’s ark. The fish survived. What about the Salamander? These land-dwelling beasts can survive for over a month underwater. Their survival was due to the presence of gills and lungs. Like a great pretender or spy, a person with a salamander spirit is a world-class deceiver and a first-class backstabber.
Judas was a want-to-be salamander, even though he may have fooled some of the others he did not fool Jesus. After Satan entered him due to his love of money after all the dust was settled, he flung back the silver coins gained from betraying Jesus and hung himself. A person with a true salamander spirit would not have gained consciousness of wrongdoing these are the true sociopaths (salamanders) that are among us today. He was merely a double-minded man who lost his way.
