Indian Council of Medical Research or ICMR which is India’s top governing medical body has stated that the latest Salman Khan starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is more effective against the mutant variant of the virus than most homemade hacks for immunity building currently practised in India.
India has been the source of numerous traditional recipes for homemade solutions for almost all ailments, the COVID19 pandemic being no exception. People all over India, regardless of caste or religion have been using some Ayurveda, Siddha or Naturopathy inspired formulas for protecting them against the virus. The trust placed in these recipes is more than what the general population has in the vaccines.
The recipes range from absurd solutions like drinking gomuthra or cow’s urine to stuff with some basic scientific backing like drinking boiled water with neem, lemon, cloves and fenugreek. There are recipes available that can be drunk, inhaled, consumed and even applied to the body.
The premier Indian medical body has previously released statements that these hacks are not the answer to the virus. The population of India needs to get themselves vaccinated to have any assurance whatsoever that they can be even slightly protected. However, with the falling number of vaccines available, the ICMR is more than happy to let the placebo effect take control to reduce any kind of panic like situation in the country.
With the much-awaited Eid release of Salman Khan’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, the ICMR have data from the last 24 hours to show that the movie may be able to provide a safety net from the attack of the virus and is more effective than any of the current hacks practised in the country.
Salman Khan is inarguably the most polarising man in India after Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A section of society hates him to the core while the other half would gladly lay down their lives for him. The movie Radhe was supposed to be released last year but was pushed forward due to the pandemic and is Salman Khan’s first release since Dabangg 3 in 2019.
Our sources within ICMR have said that this particular scenario was first observed by doctors of a die-hard Bhai fan who was hospitalised with severe oxygen depletion in New Delhi. The patient had subscribed to the Zee OTT platform to watch the movie as his last action in this lifetime. However, within 15 mins of watching the movie, the patient’s oxygen levels started increasing and stabilised after the end of the movie. Although still not out of complete danger, the patient’s condition has vastly improved.
