The mission of the Big Sandy Heritage Center Museum is to collect and preserve the history of Pike County and the Big Sandy region in order to engage and educate our community and visitors to the people, places and events that make our area unique. The Big Sandy Heritage Center Museum envisions its future as a vibrant cultural center which provides resources to encourage understanding and appreciation of our heritage and history through outreach and partnerships. The podcast will become a regular part of the museum's activities in helping fulfil its mission.History Express is our podcast which will be published twice a month to discuss and explore our region's unique history and heritage.
