On the very 1st episode of season 3, my good friend and special guest Michael Barry joins the show to give us great insight through his experience and study of the Bible. Season II continues with another amazing episode with special guest Hannah Henson! Episode II is all about redemption of relationships. As I ask Hannah the tough questions about her liberation story and past breakups, she graciously unveils the healing of her wounds that will inspire you to be bold over your pain. Hannah’s humility shows throughout the episode with her work as a personal fitness trainer, manager of a business, and her natural extroverted personality. She reminds us how important it is to be true to who we are and trust our gut with difficult decisions. One decision that has changed her life forever, almost didn’t happen, if it wasn’t for her boldness to be blessed.
The beautiful story in this episode, is how God can find love for us no matter what. Steve graciously unveils to us that his real mother never told him that she loved him. And because of this, Steve felt that he had to harden himself into a man that didn’t need to be loved. But because of this “bulletproof” attitude, Steve found himself in need of redemption. After God patiently and lovingly humbled Steve, Steve found love in all the strangest places. Love from his biggest enemy on the streets (Joe), and love from Joe’s mother. Joe’s mother would tell Steve she loved him every day, and this relationship was the bedrock for Steve's future trials that made him all the more loving. When we listen to this episode we will hear of how to be hopeful in the hardest of situations.
