Pastor Dale Thornton continues a study in Philippians. He rightly describes salvation as a work in progress. While our justification -being made right with God for eternity- takes place at the moment we receive Christ as Savior, salvation also encompasses becoming more like Christ through sanctification and one day receiving a glorified body free from the effects of sin. So our salvation is an ongoing process -- but still solely the result of God's grace and not our human effort. This is part 2 of a message begun the previous Sunday.
