What is Salvation?

How did it come

How is it kept

and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 3:15 KJV

The entire message of the bible is Salvation

Soteria; to deliver and preserve

Sotia; saviour

For Salvation to happen there must be a saviour

Salvation is to be delivered from sin, rescued from sin and kept in a place where there's no sin

Where did sin come from

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Romans 5:12 KJV

Esikomai=Entered

Sin came by man and passed upon all men

for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:23 KJV

And = kai = also meaning to sin is to fall short of Gods glory

E.G....

Except a man be born of water "and" spirit

"And" means "Also"

Salvation is not deliverance from healing, or poverty, it is deliverance from sin

Salvation is a common solution for a common problem (sin) that affects all mankind

Jesus mission statement:

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Matthew 1:21 KJV (note he didn’t come to just heal or make rich)

Satan always attacks the integrity of Gods word to produce unbelief, and therefore sin ( this he did with eve in the garden of Eden)

It takes believe to be saved and unbelief to perish; a good example were the children of Israel in the wilderness who died because of unbelief
