KNOW: In the first Passover, faith in and obedience to the LORD brought life. A lamb, cared for and nurtured by Jewish families, was slaughtered in the place of their firstborn. Its blood was a sign, and that sign turned away the wrath of God. Salvation was made manifest by sacrifice.

DO: Listen. Obey. Believe. Live.

For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians, and when he sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to enter your houses to strike you. - Exodus 12:23
