In Matthew 9:13, Jesus says, "But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

This echoes the words of the prophet Hosea from Hosea 6:6, "For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings."

Are you ready to receive the new that God has for you in this season?

Jesus teaching in Luke 5: 33-39 said, 

"He told them this parable: “No one tears a piece out of a new garment to patch an old one. Otherwise, they will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old. And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins. And no one after drinking old wine wants the new, for they say, ‘The old is better.’”

God has in his kindness and foreknowledge given us the scriptures to give us hope and encouragement. What a divine blessing that we are those who have God's will written for us to teach us, grow us and instruct us in righteousness.
