Most of us have heard the good news of the Gospel. We have heard that Jesus came to earth, lived a perfect life, laid down His life on the cross as the payment for sin, and rose again three days after He was buried. We know that when we repent and trust in His sacrifice, we experience the new birth and are saved from the wrath of God through faith in Jesus. This part of the Gospel is known and believed by all Christians. But do we know the rest of the good news? Do we really understand what happened to us and for us when we were saved? Could it be that we have misplaced the truth of what God actually does to us, in us, for us, and through us when we are saved?
