Sam Bloom is lucky to be alive. She suffered devastating injuries, including severe damage to her spinal cord that left her paralysed after falling through a rotten balcony in Thailand.

Broken and hopeless, she had a little help from an unlikely feathered Magpie called Penguin, and made her way back from the edge! Her incredible life turned into a movie starring Naomi Watts, and you can catch her speaking at the Melbourne Disability Expo
