Sam Houston associate head coach Chris Mudge stopped by the podcast to talk about the Bearkats. At 8-1 in WAC play and 13-9 overall, the Bearkats have come alive in WAC play. Sam Houston beat California Baptist on Wednesday and now head to the Pacific Northwest for a battle for first place.

Mudge talks about the team and how the players have bought into winning. Along with this, Mudge discusses role players stepping up, the high basketball IQ of the squad and facing adversity. 

Saturday's game features two teams that are red hot. Both Sam Houston and Seattle are 9-1 in their last 10 games. Both sit atop the WAC standings at 7-0 and 8-1. So, the Redhawk Center should be rocking on Saturday in a battle for first place.
