A dispute over the volume of carbon sequestered on sheep and beef farms could result in new methodology adopted that more accurately reflects what is happening on farms.

Beef + Lamb NZ environment policy manager Dylan Muggeridge says a difference in methodology is responsible for B+LNZ and the Ministry for the Environment (MfE) reaching diverse conclusions.
