My path to software development was a little nontraditional. After studying audio engineering in college, I worked in both recording studio and live music venue environments. I stumbled across coding while working at an educational technology company that aimed to improve the lives of music teachers by providing them with modern, digital teaching resources. At this time, I was searching for a way to have a bigger impact on the community around me, and I immediately fell in love with the endless possibilities of technology. I am now tying in my past experiences with project management, team-building, creative design, data analysis (SQL) and more with my skills as a software developer.
