Daniel Snell is the Co-Director & Founder of Arrival Education the UK's leading diversity and social inclusion (D&I ) consultancy firm, working with the country's best Executive Leadership teams, to unlock their Diversity Dividend. An increasing number of organisations are waking up to the power of diversity and social inclusion as a key driver of innovation, growth and increased business success. The evidence is clear: forward-thinking businesses know they need to diversify their workforce. However, many struggle to make the changes required to make this happen. We talked about whether D&I is just lipstick on a pig or really beginning to be a central focus for companies wanting to recruit the best people irrelevant of ethnicity or sexuality.   Daniel is just finishing off his new book Diversify or Die - How businesses have to unlock their diversity dividend if they are to remain successful.   Finally, Daniel is training for next April's Marathon Des Sables, or MdS, a six-day, 251 km (156 mi) ultramarathon, which is approximately the distance of six regular marathons.  We discussed how his training is coming along with his extreme diet.
