Jamie Riddell CEO of Escaping Gravity was my guest. Jamie and I have known each other through social media for over a decade, this was the first time we really had a chance to sit down face to face to discuss the highs and lows of his successful entrepreneurial journey.   I had no idea that Jamie and his co-founder wife started Cheeze in 1999 and sold their first company for £10.5m and   Had it not been for GDPR, Jamie may have sold his second company BirdSong Analytics for a similar buyout return. Birdsong Analytics is the World's largest 'Pay as you Go' Social Media Analytics platform. We provide on demand reports to clients in over 120 countries across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. Our customers including IBM, The UN, Disney, KEA, Yamaha, Monsanto, Harvard and thousands more. Today Jamie is a board advisor, mentor to startups and an angel investor. We talked about some of his recent investments in startups such as Uni Salad and his personal goals as well as how he sees the future of technology evolving from online advertising through to new digital currencies like Facebook's Libra.       Links: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jamieriddell/
