Hello! welcome back Midweek Midwifery family! Its been a while between episodes as we both juggled placement and family but we are back with an episode that is worth the wait. Today's episode features the beautiful Samantha - A proud Kuungkari, Iningai and South Sea Islander Aboriginal woman. Samantha currently lives in Meanjin (Brisbane) on Jagera and Turrbal country and talks through her winding journey to Midwifery which had stops and starts on the way.

Samantha's journey is incredibly encouraging and shows how important it is to stop when your body and your circumstances is telling you it's needed. She chats through some cultural safety questions and what her experience of study has been like.
