We're LOOSE. After a long break we welcome Charles Jestice (and a bottle of Whistle Pig) to the studio for our most jazz episode yet. The Hogs needed to wind down, and wind down we did. We eschew discussion of Tom Hanks or the three films (Road to Perdition, The Ladykillers, Cloud Atlas) for more unsavory things, sorry to all the mamas out there.

This week the boys are giving Tom Hanks the shower of gold that he deserves, in the form of little statues. On this Hanksgiving special we also talk about Fred Rogers and pull out our cuss words- and we DO NOT talk about Forrest Gump. If you're here for Gump, seat's taken. Same Guy, Different Movie is a podcast about actors, wherein the hosts draft a 10 film head canon that they explore over 4 episodes, pouring over our favorite (and least favorite) actor's careers, and stopping in on various directors, snacks, and bits along the way. 

We did it! Season 1 comes to a close with our dad Laurence Fishburne! That's right, a 6 episode season, how fancy and British! This week we get into the power of a name, Tyler's grandfather tells Hollywood where to stick it, Levi waxes poetic about his love of space, and the Internet repeatedly sabotages the recording. 

Game over man! This week we watch Fort Worth hero Bill Paxton fight Aliens, the weather, and inadequacy. Come for the Bill Paxton pasta, an older fashioned, fatherhood, and as always 2003's Cats and Dogs. 

Today the boys, um, talk, uh, Jeff Goldblum, yes. They eventually discuss if there is anyone hotter, mourn the loss of a beloved podcaster, and start writing their acceptance speech for the Nobel Prize in Bobbys (and Jared continues to make everyone watch musicals). 

This week we stan Laura Dern. We welcome Stinky T to the studio, talk about some boring movies that Levi likes (and not Star Wars), and introduce cocktail corner. This also marks the end of the podcast's technical difficulties! We will never have one again! 

This week we get weird with veritable kiwi hunk Jemaine Clement, Tyler shows us how it is done with his timeline, and we put in our application to the Illuminati.
