Islamophobes tarnished Masajid worldwide, making them out as places cultivating terror, and then built on the fear of those who never had the opportunity to visit a masjid or interact with Muslims. The idea of opening the masjid to community members was born to counteract the negativity surrounding masajid, especially in the US
and Europe.
