Plasmatique is the melodic techno project of Slovak producer Zuzana Retkesova, known for her progressive melodic techno productions. The result is a work of contrasts, which culminates in a twilight piece, capable of suspending us serenely in the void, based on subtle soft and vaporous melodies. Inconsolable demonstrates the particular way of understanding Plasmatique's sound, located at the opposite end of what is commercial, what is generic, what works: what it does is, on the contrary, a kind of unstable magma of pulsations and flashes, of melodic lines and diffuse textures, pursuing a serene, spiritual, almost ascetic expression.
