The Consumer Product Safety Commission and Samsung are recalling Samsung Electric Slide-In Ranges. This range’s front-mounted knob can be accidentally turned on by your or your pets creating fire hazards.
About 1,120,905 ranges were sold at Best Buy, Costco, The Home Depot, Lowe’s and other appliance stores nationwide and online at samsung.com from May 2013 through August 2024.
Stop using these ranges until you have contacted Samsung at 1-833-775-0120 or via email at [email protected] to receive a set of knob locks or covers depending upon your range model. If you have a wifi enabled model, your smartphone app will warn you if a burn is on.
